Why ACSGP for your Certification Choice

Assurance built on competence, impartiality, and robust methods

Our certification approach follows ISO/IEC 17021-1 (requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems) and our audit practices align with ISO 19011 (guidelines for auditing management systems).

Impartiality & Independence

Decisions are made by competent personnel independent of the audit team. We identify and manage conflicts of interest throughout the engagement (ISO 17021-1).

Auditor competence is maintained by discipline, sector knowledge, and audit skills (ISO 17021-1); audits are planned and performed per ISO 19011.

Confidentiality

We protect your information and handle it on a need-to-know basis, using secure channels and clear data retention rules (ISO 17021-1).

Evidence-based, Risk-based Auditing

Audits follow ISO 19011 principles: integrity, fair presentation, due professional care, independence, and evidence-based/risk-based approaches.

Sector-appropriate Sampling

Sampling, interview depth, and site coverage are tailored to process and risk complexity, ensuring reliable findings (ISO 19011).

How we carry out the Management System Certification

A transparent, ISO-conformant certification pathway

  1. 1) Application & Scoping

We clarify scope, sites, activities, statutory/regulatory context, and exclusions. Risks that affect audit time and competence are identified (ISO 17021-1).

  2. 2) Stage 1 Audit (Readiness)

Review of documented information, site readiness, process mapping, legal registers, objectives, internal audit & management review status, and readiness for Stage 2 (ISO 19011).

  3. 3) Stage 2 Audit (Certification)

On-site evaluation of implementation and effectiveness, process performance and monitoring, competence, operational control, risk controls, and improvement mechanisms. Nonconformities are graded and communicated with agreed corrective actions (ISO 17021-1 / ISO 19011).

  4. 4) Independent Decision

Certification decisions are made by qualified personnel not involved in the audit. We issue certificates with scope, sites, and validity (ISO 17021-1).

  5. 5) Surveillance (Years 1 & 2)

Planned surveillance audits verify continued conformity and improvement; focus areas may rotate based on risk and performance (ISO 17021-1 / ISO 19011).

  6. 6) Recertification (Year 3)

A system-wide effectiveness review prior to certificate renewal, considering audit results, complaints, performance trends, and strategic changes.

Notes: We use risk-based audit programs, competent teams matched to your sector, and structured reporting with clear nonconformity grading, cause analysis, and corrective-action verification—consistent with ISO 17021-1 and ISO 19011.
