Introduction
The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course is designed to provide entry-level construction workers with essential safety training, in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards. This program covers critical workplace hazards, safety practices, and workers’ rights to foster a safe construction environment. Through theoretical instruction, interactive discussions, and case studies, participants will gain the knowledge to recognize and prevent common hazards, ensuring compliance and reducing workplace injuries.
Course Objectives
- Understand OSHA’s role and 29 CFR 1926 standards for construction safety.
- Identify common construction hazards, including falls, electrical risks, and struck-by incidents.
- Learn safe work practices for tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
