Introduction
The Lockout/Tagout (Control of Hazardous Energy) Course is designed to train workers, supervisors, and safety professionals in the safe control of hazardous energy sources, in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147. This program covers lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, hazard identification, and emergency response. Through theoretical instruction, hands-on training, and practical exercises, participants will gain the expertise to prevent energy-related accidents, protect workers, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Course Objectives
- Understand OSHA’s lockout/tagout standard and its application to hazardous energy control.

Assessment
A 30-minute multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam and a practical LOTO procedure application exercise.
