Introduction

The Safe Work Practices Near Power Lines Course is designed to train workers, supervisors, and safety professionals in the safe execution of tasks near overhead and underground power lines, in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.333 and NFPA 70E standards. This program covers electrical hazard identification, clearance requirements, and safe work procedures. Through theoretical instruction, practical demonstrations, and scenario-based exercises, participants will gain the expertise to prevent electrical accidents, ensure worker safety, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Course Objectives

  • Understand OSHA and NFPA 70E standards for working near power lines.
