
Scaffolding Safety Course

Introduction
The Scaffolding Safety Course is designed to train workers, supervisors, and safety professionals in the safe erection, use, and dismantling of scaffolding systems, in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.451. This program covers scaffold hazard identification, safe work practices, and inspection procedures. Through theoretical instruction, hands-on training, and practical exercises, participants will gain the expertise to prevent scaffold-related accidents, ensure worker safety, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Course Objectives
- Understand OSHA standards for scaffolding safety and their workplace applications.
- Identify scaffold hazards, such as unstable bases, overloading, and fall risks.
- Learn safe scaffold erection, use, and dismantling procedures.
- Develop skills to conduct pre-use scaffold inspections and identify defects.

A 30-minute multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam and a practical scaffold inspection and setup evaluation.
Certification
Scaffolding Safety Certificate issued by ACSGP upon successful completion.
